Just messing about with this iPad app, absolutely loving it. Always wanted to play on a Reactable since I saw one (if you dont know what it is, it’s an interactive table that lets people create music by placing real 3D objects on a touch sensitive table top). The iPad version is nice and I discovered you could not only add your own graphics (spot the Drunk Elephant), but make the table spin too (not in the manual). The soundtrack is being played by the table, just put together quickly to make the film, which was made quickly to show off the rotation.

Will be using this a lot to make wicked loops to go in my music.

War 17 now in shops, go get some 12″ vinyl!

Finally!!!!! Just heard that War 17 (Fuss & Fight b/w Version 4 version) is rolling out to actual shops this week. As far as I know, it’s already at Chemical and at Redeye. For those of you in AK, I’ll find out when Beat Merchants and Conch will have it.
Really stoked that this has finally come out, big ups to Mikey and Roomie too!.

Look out for some new OoGuN tunes, covering dubstep, dubhall and 130bpm whatever-it’s-called-these-days-now-that-UK-funky-seems-to-be-falling-out-of-favour-as-a-name, also just finished a remix for HoiHO records of Swervy’s Wine and Clap.

And of course, you can find quite a few OoGuN tunes to buy as digital downloads at Juno and digital-tunes.

Waiting for WAR and other forthcomings

EZ, well it’s almost time for WAR 17 to hit the streets. I’m obviously very stoked and cant wait for some lovely 12″ white label action. Been back making some more tunes on a pure dubby dubstep tip too, which I’ll be having mastered pretty soon.

In case you dont know, in the meantime I’ve got some Dubhall releases on Juno Download and Digital-tunes. The first release is PPACH00005: “Drony Stylee”, featuring the tracks Drony Dubhall and Stylee, available in FLAC, WAV or 320, and very soon now I’ll be adding PPACH00006 which will feature Batty Riders and EdoBoH (you can hear these on my soundcloud, though they are unmastered versions).

Splore was absolutely huge!! Had a wicked time at the Rum Shack, playing dubs on wendy and Crighton’s wonderful 30Hz sound system, Took loads of short vids and shots which you can see mostly on my Posterous for the mean time. Hold tight for some more pics and movies to be posted on this blog.

Good to see the single getting props, had to laugh though about the description of my remix as “enjoyably demented” by Grant Smithies. Big ups Dub Asylum each and every time!!! Hmm, maybe I should take “Enjoyably Demented” as a project title?

OoGuN’s Ba Ba BOOM Bass remix out soon on 7″ – sneak preview

Yes yes, and big ups to the one like Dub asylum for getting me to remix his tune Ba Ba Boom. The remix is in an afroBasS style, and will be out on 7″ on about the 6th of December. Have heard the test pressing and am stoked to hear how much bass we were able to get on a 7″.
